Welcome to "TRUE-SCALE" RACING. This is a new series dedicated to a more realistic looking model race car combinded with performance and handling all at a measured cost level. Our focus is to hopefully provide an enviroment where modeling skills and performence slot racing play more equal roles. Good close racing always makes for a fun event. Using a limited spec set of rules also helps to keep costs down and the fun level high. Good luck and good racing to all that dare to enter the world of "TRUE-SCALE" RACING!...... Dave; sign me up for the Wynn's and Calsonic and Harley Davidson and Interstate batteries decals and Dayle up for the Lowenbrau decals and the McCracken decals. I wouldn't be such a hog, but I will have four cars to maintain. I'm keeping a list of registered decals also. Thanks. Also where can I get a Mercedes CLK kit? Dayle wants one and I didn't find one in my search. Howie -- Here is a link for Dayle to buy his Mercedes CLK: http://www.amazon.com/Tamiya-America-In ... B00061H1LE Amazon is definetely safe and this is the best price I could find $23.99 |

Dave; when you say "modified" in the discription it may mean to some that you could do any modification to a chassis. What the test and tune will do in the comming months is to insure that if the other chassis needs a little tuning to be competive (which it will) with Tifosy, then we will allow only that modification to insure everyone is running the exact same thing. I really don't want any chassis wars with this class. We already have problems with the Sportsman class that is supposedly a spec. class. I like the "modified production" name but let's not let it get away from us. This is one of the big reasons why I like the formula of this class. If I had a different winner every race, I would be very happy and keeping a handle on this is essential. Having the same winner all the time is rather boring. |

Bill, I'm not sure about Howie's body list, its up to Howie. How is the weight on the Revell kit? Randy, I am so happy you can join us! Be sure and confirm Byron's spot if he has time, because the free seats are getting filled quickly. Which Decal set do you want Randy? Do you want the one in the kit above? ST decal set for the Mercedes C9... David Naylor Tifosi Racing |

Dave; Beau just called, sign him up for the Italia #25 decal set. Remember racers, you can only reserve decals, not the car. This is going to be fun next season. As nice as the 1/32nd cars, only bigger. See ya, Howie. Just talked to Bill, would you put him down for the STP #38 from the Porsche GT-1 EVo kit. He said if someone wanted that decal set, he would change,no problem. |

Bill; yes the Porsche GT-1 EVO is good to go, I'm in the process of building the same car with different decals. I think the car is a little heavy, especialy in the ass end, but it is a real nice car and we won't know how it handles with this format until we start testing against others. |

Howie, Body for your class after looking at the races for these cars, the Mercedes CLK is one of the appropriate cars for the Era. Would you consider running that model? I think one of your boys mentioned that he liked that one too. David Naylor |

Dave; yes the CLK is in. Dayle wants one to race also with different decals than the ones with the kit. I'm very grateful that you are making the offer of chassis or I would go broke trying to keep up with all this. Can you post a picture of the CLK on this page with the others? Oh, by the way Dave, I noticed today that Dwayne's name is mis-spelled, it's ok., I won't tell. Also I really think the two cars and the Rapid Raceway logo at the top of this page are a work of art, beautifull!!!!! You know your craft well. |
